New Delhi, 27 September (Hindustan Reporter). The domestic stock market is usually closed on Saturday and Sunday, but tomorrow the stock market will open on Saturday also. There will also be a trading session in the stock market tomorrow. This entire exercise is being done to take stock of the preparations made to run the work smoothly even in emergency situations.
According to the National Stock Exchange (NSE), trading will take place in the Capital Market and Futures and Options (F&O) segments of the exchange tomorrow. This trading will be done through the disaster recovery site of the exchange. The purpose of this trading session is to ensure that the exchange's service can run smoothly even in case of an emergency.
It has been told by the exchange that emergency checking will also be done by the exchange between 12 noon to 1 pm. Apart from this, live trading will also be done from the disaster recovery site on September 30 and October 1. By doing this the stock exchange wants to assess the preparedness of its system during any crisis.
