Traders protested against selling pan masala and tobacco in separate shops


Meerut, June 03 (HS). Traders have started protesting against the order to sell pan masala and tobacco at separate shops. On Monday, traders under the banner of Industry Trade Delegation Uttar Pradesh sent a memorandum to the Chief Minister through the District Magistrate and demanded a ban on this.

Traders demonstrated at the Collectorate on Monday under the leadership of Lokesh Aggarwal, Provincial President of Uttar Pradesh Industry Trade Delegation. Sending a memorandum to the Chief Minister through the District Magistrate's office, the traders said that for thousands of years, traders have been providing all the essential goods for household use at their shops, but the Food Safety Commissioner has issued an order to sell paan masala and tobacco at separate shops. All traders are opposing this order. The traders demanded the Chief Minister to withdraw this order immediately. If this anti-trader order is not withdrawn, then the traders will have to take to the streets and start a movement. Ram Avtar Bansal, Atulya Gupta, Sushil Jain, Vijay Maan, Durgesh Mittal, Sanjay etc. were present on this occasion.
