Samastipur, 07 October (H.S.). The Chief Minister transferred funds to the beneficiaries under various schemes under rural development, symbolically a program of distribution of funds and checks was organized through the District Magistrate in various districts.

Transfer of an amount of Rs 113 crore to 34 thousand beneficiaries under the Sustainable Livelihood Scheme at the state level under the Jeevika Project, transfer of an amount of Rs 400 crore as community investment fund to 48500 self-help groups and Rs 537 crore 33 lakh to 15314 self-help groups. Bank loan amount of Rs. was transferred through various banks. At the district level, transfer of Rs 2 crore 58 lakh 46 thousand to 735 families under the Sustainable Livelihood Scheme by the District Project, transfer of Rs 26 crore 35 lakh 40 thousand to 2562 self-help groups as community investment fund and a total of Rs 305 by various banks. Yesterday, loan amount of Rs 11 crore 47 lakh 50000 was transferred to Jeevika self-help groups through various banks.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, a total target of 13489 has been set for Samastipur district in the financial year 2024-25, against which a total of 11789 beneficiaries have been approved at the district level and a total of 9972 beneficiaries have been given Rs 39 crore 88 lakh as the first installment. Transfer of Rs 80 thousand is being done. In the said program, District Magistrate Samastipur Mr. Roshan Kushwaha symbolically gave the amount sanction letter and check to all the beneficiaries from the video conferencing room. On the spot, Deputy Development Commissioner Samastipur Mr. Sandeep Shekhar Priyadarshi, Director DRDA Ashutosh Kumar, DPM Jeevika and related officials were present. The beneficiaries were present.
