Total solar eclipse will occur in western countries on Monday, will not be visible in India

Bhopal, 7 April (HS). On Monday, April 8, when the sun has set in India, the rising sun will be eclipsed in western countries. This solar eclipse will plunge the cities along the eclipse path into dense darkness for about four and a half hours. Giving information about this on Sunday, National Award winning science broadcaster Sarika Gharu said that due to the Moon being close to the Earth and coming in the middle and in a straight line, the astronomical phenomenon of a total solar eclipse is going to be visible on a certain part of the Earth. .

Sarika said that this eclipse will pass from Sinaloa to Cahuilla in Mexico, from Texas to Maine in the United States and from Ontario to Newfoundland in Canada. A partial eclipse will be visible across North America and parts of Western Europe.

He told that according to Indian time, this solar eclipse will start at 9.12 minutes 15 seconds and will continue till 2.22 minutes 19 seconds. Maximum eclipse will occur at 11:47 pm 21 seconds. Since at this time night will have started after sunset, hence it will not be visible in India. If you want to see the solar eclipse in India, then you will have to wait for August 2, 2027, when you will be able to see the partial solar eclipse.

Sarika told about the eclipse that according to a calculation, about 8.19 percent of the world's population will be able to see this eclipse in some parts, while about 0.55 percent of the population will be able to see the total eclipse. He told that two to five solar eclipses can occur in a year. A total solar eclipse may occur approximately every 18 months. After a total solar eclipse occurs in a city or village, the probability of it being visible again in the same city or village comes after about 375 years.
