Total Rs. Rs 1.7 lakh crore was raised through IPO on NSE during FY 2024-25

Ahmedabad: The market capitalization of National Stock Exchange (NSE) by 31 March 2025 is Rs. 410.87 lakh crore (4.81 trillion dollars) which was Rs 1000. By the end of March 2024, there will be 384.2 lakh crores ($ 4.61 trillion). The total number of companies listed on NSE will be 2,720.

A total of 242 IPOs were registered in FY 25, given the IPO and funding activity on NSE during the financial year 2024/25. Out of which there were 79 IPOs on the main board. While 163 IPOs of SME came. The total amount raised through IPO is Rs. 1.7 lakh crores

If we look at the money ranting (equity and loan market), the total amount raised in FY 25 was Rs 18.69 lakh crore (+35% annually). While Rs. 14.18 lakh crore was raised through loan market (+24% annual).

The total equity raised Rs. 4.26 lakh crore (+110% annual) Rs. Rs 1.28 lakh crore was raised through QIP.

Talking about the trading volume and derivative market in FY 25, the total cash market turnover is Rs. 281.28 lakh crores (+39.9% annually). Equity futures turnover Rs. 462.89 lakh crore (+40.4% annual). While equity option business: 155.49 lakh crore (+2.3% annual).

Commodity options turnover in commodity trading Rs. 4,603 crore (+779.9% yoy) and commodity futures trading Rs. 249 crore (-95.4% annual)

The total number of projects listed on the Social Stock Exchange with 7 new projects in FY 2025 was 12. While Rs. Municipal bonds worth Rs 40.8 crore were issued.
