Torrential rain in many areas in 24 hours, heaviest rain in Palsana and Manavadar

In the last 24 hours, 8.5 inches of rain was recorded in Olpad and Palsana of Surat, 7 inches in Mahuva, 5.5 inches in Vanthali of Junagadh, 6 inches in Dwarka and Bardoli, 6 inches in Kutiyana.

Meghraja has drenched Gujarat since morning. Torrential rain has occurred in various districts of the state. Heavy rain has occurred in Manavadar of Junagadh late at night. Due to the overflowing of Rasla dam like Jeevdori, instructions have been given not to travel on the river bed. Due to torrential rain on Girnar mountain of Junagadh, Ghodapur has come on Damodar Kund. About 8 inches of rain has occurred. There is new water in Damodar Kund and Sonarakh river. Low lying areas have been alerted.

Continuous rain in Junagadh

Due to continuous rains in Junagadh, Meghalanadi has been flooded. There has been heavy rain in Maliahatinaama and Gir. A 5 feet Shivling has drowned in the flood water. The low lying areas of Maliahatina have been flooded. An atmosphere of happiness has been seen among the farmers due to the flood in the river. There has been new inflow in Meghalanaadi, Lathodariya, Pandarwa.
