Chittorgarh, May 28 (HS). Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Chittorgarh has taken action in a bribery case. Bhadesar police station personnel had taken a bribe of 15 thousand through a broker. ACB has taken action and arrested the broker along with Bhadesar police station officer and a constable. ACB's action in the case is continuing.
Director General of Anti-Corruption Bureau, Dr. Ravi Prakash Mehrada informed that a complaint was given by the complainant to the Chittorgarh unit of ACB. In this, Bhadesar SHO Ravindra Sen, Constable Suresh are harassing him by demanding a bribe of Rs 15,000 in lieu of not beating his friend who was arrested on the charge of breach of peace and presenting him before the magistrate soon. On this, the complaint was verified under the leadership of Additional Superintendent of Police of Chittorgarh unit Kailash Sandu. After this, ASP along with his team conducted a trap operation on Tuesday. In this case, Bhadesar SHO Ravindra Sen, Constable Suresh and broker Kailash Teli resident of Bhadesar, (private person) have been arrested red handed while taking a bribe of Rs 15,000 from the complainant. Interrogation and action against the accused is going on under the direction of Deputy Inspector General of Police Rajendra Prasad Goyal of ACB Udaipur. A case will be registered under the Prevention of Corruption Act in the matter by ACB and further investigation will be done.
