Saptak Music Festival 2025: 5 January 2025, Sunday Saptak Music Festival is a fun festival, happiness doubles. Morning meeting and night meeting. Entertainment for enthusiasts. He presented Aalap in Raga Suddhagauri and paid tribute to comedians Manjubahan Mehta and U. Zakir Hussain. Later he presented Bandish in Raga Lalita Gauri and finally cemented his place in the hearts of the devotees by presenting Raga Desha.
U.Shujaatji’s sitar presentation mesmerized the audience
In the third and final meeting of Saptak Shastri Sangeet Parv on Saturday 4 January 2025, Shri. When Shujaat Khan came on stage, as always, his easygoing and friendly attitude thrilled the audience. Shujaatji’s humorous nature created a wave of laughter in the gathering and when Shujaatji started singing, his sitar also got decorated and he sat on his lap with care. It was as if this senior artist started playing sitar along with Mitash and Mudatta. Due to the magic of the artist’s fingers and the purity of the heart and musical devotion and love, the sitar also started to dance and kept the artist’s mind alive. The seventh scion of the Imdadkhani family put the clan to shame when the North Indian musician played Raga Vachaspati. As Shujatji’s sitar struck the bells of the organ, the shy Manu’s wife felt as if she heard a whisper from within the veil, and all shouted Afrin – Blessed.
