The last date to apply for JEE Advanced is Tuesday (May 7). Career counseling expert Amit Ahuja said that a large number of registrations are expected on the last day of registration for this examination to be held for 17 thousand 385 seats in 23 IITs of the country.

Last year, 1.89 lakh students had registered for this examination. He said that 2.50 lakh top students of JEE Mains have been declared eligible for registration. Ahuja told that after the registration of the examination ends on May 7, admit cards will be issued on May 17. After this, the examination will be held on May 26 in two shifts from 9 am to 12 noon and from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm. This examination will be conducted in 222 cities of the country, apart from this, this examination will also be conducted in 3 cities abroad. Through this examination conducted by IIT Madras, admission is given in 23 IITs of the country. Apart from this, admission is given to 6 campuses of IISE, IST, Rajiv Gandhi Petroleum, IIPE Visakhapatnam, IISER through this examination.

NTA had written duplicate marks of many students in the JEE-Mains results. These students had appeared for JEE-1 and JEE-2 exams with different registration numbers. However, the result was later revised to enable him to qualify for JEE-Advanced. After the revised result by NTA, the records of these students were not given to the administrator of JEE-Advanced, IIT Madras, hence these students cannot apply for the examination even if they are eligible. If IIT Madras does not accept the registration of these students till the last date of May 7, then such students may lose the opportunity.
