Haridwar, 9 December (HS). In protest against the atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh, people of the Muslim community offered a sheet at the Kaliyar Sabir Pak Dargah near Roorkee and prayed for peace. Muslim religious leaders have strongly condemned the atrocities on Hindu minorities in Bangladesh and have demanded from the Central Government that strict steps should be taken regarding Bangladesh.
On this occasion, Waqf Board Chairman Shadab Shams said that there is a nefarious conspiracy of ISI and Jamaat-e-Islami in what is happening in Bangladesh. The minority people of Bangladesh are facing religious hatred. Temples are being demolished there, even the honor of sisters and daughters is not safe. Democracy has been murdered there and the oppressed are being tortured. We have come here to complain against the oppressors and in favor of the oppressed. Shadab Shams said that we are the largest democracy in the world and are believers of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. Presently the country is in the strong hands of Narendra Modi and the government is very serious about this matter. Bangladeshis trapped in the evil clutches of Pakistan should come out and create an environment of peace, otherwise be prepared to face serious consequences.
On this issue, Muslim maulanas said that the Quran says that Innalah Maasahirin i.e. God is with the oppressed who are patient and is against the oppressors i.e. those who oppress. He said that the fundamentalist people of Bangladesh should be afraid that they are careless about the punishment of God due to falling in the trap of Pakistan. His fate is going to be very bad.
