A very sensational and shocking incident has come to light from Agra district of Uttar Pradesh which is bringing shame to the relationships. Here a Kalyugi son has been seriously accused of allegedly trying to kill his own mother by poisoning her.
After this heart-wrenching incident came to light, the police took immediate action and arrested the accused son. The reason revealed in the initial investigation has surprised even the police officers. It is alleged that the young man’s wife was living in her maternal home for a long time and his mother-in-law had set a condition that she would not send her daughter back with her until her mother died.
Poison given by mixing chickpea vegetable
According to the FIR lodged with the police, this dreadful conspiracy was carried out in a village in Agra. The accused Ravindra is accused of deliberately mixing some poisonous substance in the chickpea vegetable during lunch and serving that food to his elderly mother Ramamurthy.
Within minutes of eating the poisonous food, Ramamurthy’s health started deteriorating seriously and she started writhing in agony. Immediately, other family members admitted him to the nearest hospital, where his treatment is going on under the supervision of doctors and his condition remains critical.
Revealed on Ranveer Singh’s complaint
This whole matter came to light when Ranveer Singh, the husband of the victim woman and father of the accused, went to the police station and lodged a written complaint against his own son. Another shocking claim made in the complaint is that when the family strictly interrogated Ravindra immediately after the incident, he confessed that the poison was given to him by none other than his real mother-in-law Phoolwati.
Mother-in-law had threatened: “Move the mother out of the way, only then will the daughter come.”
According to a report in ‘India Today’, Ravindra’s mother-in-law Phoolwati has also been made a co-accused in the FIR registered. It is alleged that Phoolwati had provided poison to Ravindra as part of complete planning.
According to Ranveer Singh’s complaint, mother-in-law Phoolwati had called son-in-law Ravindra to her house located in Gatpura village of Agra. There he handed over a sealed packet to Ravindra and reportedly said that “Until you get your mother out of the way forever, my daughter will not step into your house or go with you.” Due to separation from his wife and instigation of his mother-in-law, Ravindra committed this dreadful crime. However, the police say that these allegations are still being investigated thoroughly.

Giving a new twist to this case, accused Ravindra’s brother Mukesh told the police that there was a deep dispute going on in his family for a long time regarding ancestral property. Mukesh claims that due to this family tension and daily fights, Ravindra’s wife got fed up and went to live in her parents’ house, taking advantage of which his mother-in-law made Ravindra a pawn.
On the basis of growing controversy and strong primary evidence, Agra Police registered a case against the accused Ravindra and his mother-in-law Phoolwati. Sections 61 (criminal conspiracy), 109 (attempt to murder) and 123 (causing hurt by means of poison or dangerous substance) of the Indian Justice Code (BNS). A case has been registered under. Ravindra is currently in police custody and is being continuously interrogated. Police officials say that after the medical report of the mother coming from the hospital and the forensic lab investigation, further strict legal action will be taken in the case.
