National President of Indian Council of Political Science, Prof. Geetanjali Das, Vice Chancellor Baharampur University, Odisha, while highlighting the subject of Indian Knowledge Tradition in detail, said that this subject gives complete knowledge about education innovation and sustainable development. To awaken the present generation, it is necessary to introduce them to the rich culture, philosophy and ethics of India.

He said this on Thursday at the inauguration of the 61st session of the Indian Council of Political Science at Maharaja Ganga Singh University.

On Thursday, the first day of the convention, a workshop was organized under the joint aegis of Indian Knowledge System, Ministry of Education, Government of India and Indian Council of Political Science.

General Secretary of Indian Political Science Prof. Sanjeev Kumar Sharma said that this 61st conference of the Council is being organized for the first time in Bikaner. He said that this convention is also important because more than 40 percent women are participating in it. He said that the Council is entering the 87th year of its establishment. Along with the representation of various classes and communities in the Council, qualitative educational activities and publication of research journals are being carried out continuously.

Vice Chancellor of Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Acharya Manoj Dixit said that Bikaner has a distinct identity for its hospitality and rich cultural history. Keeping this in mind, the university made every effort so that along with the academic dialogue, the participants also got acquainted with the unique traditions of Bikaner. He expressed his views in the context of Indian knowledge tradition and spiritual insight and said that it has also been included in our national education policy.

Dr. was the keynote speaker in the technical session of the workshop. Vinayak Rajat Bhat, Chanakya University, Bengaluru, presented his views in detail by throwing light on various aspects of Kautilya's economics subject i.e. 15 principles of scriptures, artha and economics.

Local Organizing Secretary Dr. Dharmesh Harwani said that on the first day today around 600 participants registered themselves and participated in the workshop.

University media in-charge Dr. Bitthal Bissa told that the international seminar on Developed India-2047 will begin at 10 am on the second day of the convention. In which Prof. A.P. Padhi, former Vice-Chancellor and former Chairman of the Indian Council of Political Science, will deliver the keynote address as well as panel discussions on various aspects of developed India in different sessions and distribution of national awards and souvenirs of IPSA. 'Maru Ganga' will also be released. In honor of the participants, a cultural program and conclave imbued with the art and culture of Bikaner will also be organized.
