Clive has announced that he will build a replica of the huge ship that sank in the depths of the ocean on the night of 13 April 1912. More than 2 thousand people died and the remaining 700 people could not forget that terrible night and scene till their last breath, but now a company has gathered courage and resolved to complete this incomplete journey.
The model of the ship was shown to the world in a press conference
Palmer launched the Titanic-2 project in 2012 and again in 2018 and has now once again taken steps towards realizing this dream. At a press conference at Sydney's Opera House on Wednesday, a model of the ship docked in the city's famous harbor was presented to the world through an animated film and screenshots.
At the press conference, Palmer's team also showed an 8-minute video that was made several years ago. The layout of the ship is shown in this video. Palmer claims that applications have been invited from construction companies to dedicate the ship to the world in the first 3 months of 2025 or later.
Had a dream 10 years ago, Corona put brakes on it
According to the information, Titanic-II will be approximately 269 meters (833 feet) long and 32.2 meters (105 feet) wide, slightly wider and larger than Titanic. It will have 835 cabins and 9 decks. About 2400 people will be able to travel in this. The first two decks will be reserved, the rest will be open to the general public. There will be kitchen and dining hall, restaurant, bar, cinema hall and theater on the third deck. Palmer says he had a dream about 10 years ago that he envisioned by building a model ship, but he did not have the money needed for the project. Then his project got affected during the Corona period, but he is relaunching it on the basis of sponsorship.
