Jagdajpur, 11 September (HS). Tirathgarh waterfall has been filled with water due to continuous rain in the district for the last three days. Not only the people of Bastar division but also tourists from outside had come to Bastar to see this waterfall, but due to increase in water source, tourists have been prohibited from going near the Tirathgarh waterfall since Wednesday. It is being told that due to continuous rain for three days in Bastar, rivers and streams are in spate, while a large number of tourists from Raipur to Kolkata and other places have come to see this beautiful sight.
But due to the overflowing of Munga Bahar Nala due to rain, the water level in Tirathgarh has increased a lot, due to which the Tirathgarh waterfall has been closed. Also, security has been increased, so no tourist is being allowed to go down. It is being told that in view of the rising rain water, Tirathgarh has been closed for the second time, so that the common people cannot go down. If seen, last time tourists had gone very close to the waterfall, risking their lives, which could have led to a major accident, but this time the department has closed Tirathgarh without any negligence.
