Dharamshala, March 12 (Hindustan Reporter) Tibetan women in exile took out a protest march against China on Tuesday on the occasion of National Tibetan Women's Uprising Day. During this time, under the leadership of Tibetan Women's Association, hundreds of Tibetan women, remembering the pages of the history of their life of struggle, again remembering the moment that happened on this day, demonstrated against China in McLeodganj of Dharamshala.
The Tibetan women involved in the protest alleged that they had gathered at the Potala in Tibet on 12 March 1959 to protest against China's expansionist policy and were deeply discussing their future strategy, and were boycotting China in a very polite manner. Huey was raising slogans of Go Back China, but China had brutally suppressed their women that day. Many women were put in jail and their condition became worse. As a result, the situation there remains the same even today. Women are still being exploited there, China is continuously violating the human rights of the women there.
The exiled women said that they are still fighting for the independence of Tibet, for which they have adopted the middle-class path of peace and non-violence of Buddhist religious leader Dalai Lama, under which China is being opposed all over the world. He said that we do not need anything else from the Chinese government, rather than harming the original style of life of Tibet which includes their language, dialect, traditions, heritage, culture and civilization, it should be maintained as it is, even That they should be allowed to save it.
