These days, the number of patients suffering from cold, cough and fever has increased in both government hospitals and private hospitals. Three patients suspected of swine flu have been found in Medica Hospital, Ranchi. After receiving information about the case, the entire health department has been alerted. The Health Department has issued special instructions regarding the matter. At the same time, doctors are constantly keeping an eye on suspected patients.
In this regard, Health Department official Rakesh Kumar Dayal has said that at present swine flu has not been confirmed in the patients yet. It is difficult to say anything until the test reports of the patients come. He said that it is very common for flu patients to come in the changing season. Therefore, whenever people fall ill during the rainy season, symptoms like cold, cough and sneezing are seen in them.
Suspected swine flu patients isolated
In swine flu also, symptoms like cold, cough and runny nose are found in the patients. Therefore, health institutions take patients suffering from such symptoms seriously in such weather. He said that the patients found in Medica have been kept isolated. His sample has been collected and sent for testing. If the patient's report comes positive after sample testing, then he will be treated as per the treatment guidelines of H-1N-1.
Muscle pain and stiffness, severe headache, sore throat are symptoms of swine flu infection. This disease is contagious and can pass from one person to another. The infection can also spread to other people through sneezing and spitting of an infected person. It is known that swine flu is an infectious disease, which is spread by a special type of influenza virus. Affected people have symptoms similar to those of the common seasonal cold.
In this regard, Dr. Pooja Sahay, senior doctor and lab operator of Gurunanak Hospital, said that at present, in all the samples coming for testing, six to seven patients have been found who have symptoms like H-1N-1. However, the patients are being given proper treatment. However, the Health Department has not confirmed even a single patient of swine flu so far.
