Pakistani people kidnapped an Indian youth in Türkiye. The accused made a video of an Indian youth by tying his hands and legs and showed the video at the youth's house and demanded a ransom of 24 thousand dollars. An Indian youth named Radhakrishnan was kidnapped by three Pakistani people and demanded ransom. However, Radhakrishna's friend told the police about the entire incident and the police saved the Indian youth from the accused by conducting a search operation. Later, Turkish police arrested four accused involved in the kidnapping and extortion case and put them in jail.

Weapons and cash have been recovered from the Pakistani kidnappers. A Turkish citizen has also been arrested on charges of helping them. Turkish police informed on Sunday that three Pakistanis have been arrested in Edirne city, who are accused of kidnapping an Indian citizen.

Approval to come to Türkiye in search of employment

Police said that the kidnappers demanded $24,000 i.e. about Rs 20 lakh from the Indian youth's family. According to the information, a young Indian citizen named Radhakrishnan had come to Turkey in search of employment and was working as a dishwasher in a restaurant in Istanbul.

According to reports, about a month ago, three Pakistani nationals lured Radhakrishnan with money on the pretext of getting him a job in a translation company and then kidnapped him. A friend of the youth contacted Turkish police, after which security officials rescued him from a house in a search operation.

Weapons were recovered from the house of the accused

Police said that the kidnappers tied the hands and legs of the young man and threatened his family by sending a video. According to the report, Turkey found one unlicensed gun and four pistols and some money in the homes of Pakistani nationals. A Turkish national with a criminal record has also been arrested in the incident on charges of harboring the kidnappers.
