Katihar, 01 March (Hindustan Reporter). For the convenience of passengers, Railways will operate one pair of new trains each between Jogbani and Siliguri, Danapur and Jogbani and Saharsa and Jogbani. The inaugural special train Jogbani-Siliguri will leave from Jogbani on Saturday. While two other inaugural trains will leave from Saharsa and Danapur.
In this context, Katihar Railway Division's DRM Surendra Kumar said on Friday evening that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off many new trains through video conference on Saturday. In which, with the aim of increasing connectivity, along with doubling of railway lines in Katihar Railway Division, new trains are being run for the convenience of passengers. In which apart from Inorgal Special Train No. 05723 Jogbani Siliguri Bhaya Katihar, Inorgal Special Train No. 05560 Saharsa Jogbani and Inorgal Special Train No. 03220 Danapur Jogbani Special Train are included. All preparations have been completed in Katihar Railway Division regarding the PM's program.
The new train between Danapur and Jogbani and Saharsa and Jogbani will operate up and down daily from March 5, stopping at scheduled stoppages, while Jogbani Siliguri will run five days a week from March 4.
People of Seemanchal region are very excited to see the historic moment regarding the operation of Saharsa-Jogbani train on broad gauge after years of gauge conversion. Railway Board has also released the time table for running the train. Due to which there is a lot of joy among the people of Seemanchal.
Danapur-Jogbani inaugural special train will depart from Danapur at 17.00 hrs today and reach Jogbani at 04.00 hrs the next day. Regular operation of this train will be done daily from Danapur from 05.03.2024 and from Jogbani from 06.03.2024. In up and down direction it will stop at Patliputra, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Darbhanga, Sakri, Jhanjharpur, Ghogardiha, Nirmali, Saraigarh, Raghopur, Lalitgram, Narpatganj and Forbesganj stations.
The same Saharsa-Jogbani inaugural special train will depart from Saharsa at 17.00 hrs and reach Jogbani at 22.00 hrs. Regular operation of this train from Saharsa and Jogbani will be done daily from 05.03.2024. From 05.03.2024, train no. 13213 Jogbani-Saharsa Express will depart from Jogbani at 16.30 hrs and reach Saharsa at 21.30 hrs and in return train no. 13214 Saharsa-Jogbani Express will depart from Saharsa at 23.55 hrs and reach Jogbani at 04.00 hrs the next day. In up and down direction, it will stop at Saharsa, Supaul, Saraigarh, Raghopur, Lalitgram, Narpatganj and Forbesganj stations.
DRM Surendra Kumar told that under Vikas Bharat, Vikas Bihar, along with development projects worth Rs 27 thousand crore in Bihar, a total of development projects worth Rs 1 lakh 62 thousand crore across the country will be launched by the Honorable Prime Minister through video conferencing on Saturday. Will be dedicated to the nation.
On the occasion, DRM Surendra Kumar along with ADM Chaudhary Vijay Kumar, in-charge Senior DCM Kapinjal Kishore Sharma, RPF Commandant Kamal Singh and railway officials of all other departments were present.
