Three Nigerians arrested with drugs worth Rs 76 lakh in Navi Mumbai | News India

Mumbai: The Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) arrested three Nigerians in Navi Mumbai on Saturday night. In this case, the police seized mephedrone and cocoons worth Rs. 75.4 lakh.

According to the police, the three Nigerians were arrested near a temple in Kopar Khairane on Saturday night. They include 42-year-old Silvasa Nnachor, 40-year-old Ajike Donat Ogugua and 42-year-old Sunday Ezeobi. All three were residents of Kopar Khairane.

Acting on a tip-off, the ANC team arrested three suspects in Chappo on Saturday night. During investigation, 101.52 grams of mephedrone and 201.2 grams of cocaine worth Rs. 75.4 lakh were found. The police seized all these items.

After this, the ANC registered a case against the three accused under the relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and told where the accused used to get these drugs from, how many other people are involved in this racket. To whom was this to be given, such questions are also being sought. The police investigated further in this case.
