Patiala : Motorcyclists have fled with a suitcase containing cash worth about two lakhs from the car of Sat Prakash Goyal, state vice-president of Rice Millers Association Punjab. The incident is said to have taken place yesterday evening when Sat Prakash Goyal along with his driver reached the grain market on Sirhind Road in a car. In this regard, the Najwandi police station has registered a case against unknown people on the complaint of Sat Prakash Goyal and has started searching for the accused.

Sat Prakash Goyal said that he had reached Anaj Mandi yesterday evening. As soon as he reached the market, his vehicle got punctured. He had gone to the market to do his work, while the driver was trying to change the punctured tyre of the vehicle. Even after a lot of effort, the stick attached to the car did not come out. When the driver tried to open the punctured tyre, three bike riders took advantage of the situation and ran away with the suitcase lying in the car.

The faces of the robbers riding a motorcycle going towards Sirhind Road have also been captured in the CCTV camera. The police have started investigating the case from various angles and are searching for the robbers.
