Three-dimensional development of youth through NSS: Prof. Anil Pratap Giri

Prayagraj, 05 March (HS). On the fifth day of the seven-day camp of National Service Scheme, Allahabad University, the chief guest, Professor Anil Pratap Giri, Sanskrit Department, Sanskrit University, said that three-dimensional (spiritual, physical and intellectual) development of youth takes place through NSS. Only the youth who introspects and meditates with a healthy mind will be able to pave the way for the society and nation on the theoretical and practical level.

In the lecture organized at Ganga Nath Jha campus on Tuesday, Prof. Giri, while explaining the basic principle of NSS, the spirit of service, said that our sense of duty embedded in the Indian knowledge tradition is the spirit of service.

Special guest Rajvardhan, while explaining the specialty of the National Service Scheme, said that the National Service Scheme is a collector of virtues in the society and through this the youth develop the virtues inherent in them and adopt the good things seen in the society and abandon the bad ones. . This is a very important medium for developing virtues in the youth.

Dr. Prachetas Shastri said that NSS ensures the role of youth in nation building. National Service Scheme is not a hindrance in your studies but a helper. Dr. Rajni Goswami said that the first inspiration for the spirit of service comes from the mother and women power has been known for a long time to spread kindness, compassion and goodwill.

While conducting the program and giving vote of thanks, Program Officer Dr. Tej Prakash Chaturvedi said that if the volunteers perform all the tasks with unwavering dedication, doing a favor to the nation and the society and being themselves obliged by that favor, then everyone along with themselves will be benefited. Will become a source of inspiration for. And will be able to contribute to the society as a good citizen.

Before this, National Service Scheme volunteers conducted a voter awareness campaign in the Georgetown area, motivating people to vote and telling the youth above 18 years of age how to get a Voter ID card. Anjani Kumar Mishra, working at Central Sanskrit University, gave theoretical and practical training in yoga to the volunteers.

On this occasion, Mahesh Kumar Shukla, Hariom Tiwari, Shubham Singh, Nitin Singh, Sonu Kumar Mishra, Shivanand, Karan Kumar, Deendayal, Abhay Yadav and other volunteers were present.
