Seraikela, 4 November (Hindustan Reporter). Three people died and two were seriously injured in a collision between a Tip Taylor and a 407 LP near Kalapathar village on the Seraikela-Rajnagar road late on Sunday night. Both the injured were taken to Sadar Hospital for treatment. After this incident, sensation spread in the area.
It is said that the 407 vehicle (JH06R/6361) coming from Seraikela had a head-on collision with the Tip Teller (JH05CQ/1369) coming from Rajnagar near Kalapathar village, due to which the Tip Teller caught fire. It took effect.
The tip tailor driver died on the spot due to burns in the fire, while the driver and passenger of 407 also died due to serious injuries. Also, two other people traveling in vehicle 407 were seriously injured. With the help of local people, both the injured were taken out and sent to Seraikela Sadar Hospital for treatment. As soon as information about the incident was received, Seraikela police station reached the spot and sent two bodies for post-mortem, while another body was trapped inside 407. After much effort, the said body was also taken out and sent for post-mortem. After that accident, a long queue of vehicles formed on the road. The police cleared the jam and made vehicular movement smooth on the road.
