Meerut, 02 September (HS). The three-day convocation program began on Monday at Shobhit University Meerut. The first day of the convocation program began with the welcome of new students and an atmosphere full of inspiration.
The program was inaugurated by Chancellor of the University Kunwar Shekhar Vijayendra, Vice Chancellor Prof. VK Tyagi, Vice Chancellor Prof. Jayanand, Registrar Dr. Ganesh Bhardwaj, Director Corporate Relation Devendra Narayan, Dean Academic Dr. Ashok Gupta. Chancellor Kunwar Shekhar Vijayendra motivated the students to move forward on the path of success. He described Diksharambh as not just a formal program but an important opportunity to move forward in life and contribute to nation building. Also, he inspired the students to make the 7-CSK principles: communication, cooperation, creativity, critical thinking, self-confidence, dedication and character the foundation of their success.
Vice Chancellor Prof. VK Tyagi said that Shobhit University is not only an academic institution but also a platform that helps students reach their full potential. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. Jayanand also shared his views with the students and explained to them the principles of discipline. Dean Academics Prof. Dr. Ashok Gupta discussed the remarkable achievements, rankings and best practices of the university. He emphasized that Shobhit University has created its unique identity in various fields of education and research, which is a matter of pride for the students.
The special thing about this year's session of the university is that this time students from more than 22 Indian states and various countries like Ukraine, Liberia, Tanzania, Ghana, Oman etc. have joined Shobhit University. This global diversity has further broadened the rich cultural and academic environment of the university. The program was conducted by Director Outreach Dr. Neha Vashisht.
