Kishanganj, 31 August (HS). A public hearing was held on Saturday in all the police stations of the district including Sadar police station to settle land disputes. A public hearing was held in Sadar police station under the chairmanship of Kishanganj CO. Complainants were reaching the police station to resolve land related disputes in the public hearing.
On the instructions of DM and SP, a crowd of complainants gathered in the public courts organized in different police stations. People from far flung villages also reached the police station with their complaints. In the public court organized in Sadar police station, 3 out of 9 old cases were resolved on the spot.
