Ranchi, June 18 (HS). The court of judicial magistrate Prashant Kumar Verma has granted bail to three Bangladeshi women accused of illegally crossing the Indian border. The court has directed the accused to furnish two personal bonds of ten thousand rupees each, cooperate in the trial and not change their mobile numbers during the trial. Advocate Virendra Pratap of the accused women argued.
It is noteworthy that Ranchi police arrested three Bangladeshi girls on June 5. All three girls were arrested from Bali Resort Hill View Road in Bariatu police station area. All three Bangladeshi girls had fake Aadhaar cards made in India. Their names were written in these cards as Payal Das, Anika Dutta and Khushi.
On investigation it was found that their real names are Nimpi Barua alias Payal Das, Sarmin Akhtar alias Anita Dutta and Nipa Akhtar alias Khushi, who are living in India by changing their names. A total of four mobile phones and a fake Aadhar card were recovered from them. During interrogation by the police, all three told that they had crossed the border by cutting the wire at night. Three other girls had also come with them, their whereabouts could not be traced.
