East Champaran, October 08 (HS). Madhuban police arrested three youths for posting photos with weapons on social media. Police have also recovered a country-made pistol from them.
Confirming this, Pakridayal DSP Subodh Kumar said that on the instructions of the Superintendent of Police, special surveillance is being kept on social media. In this sequence, the viral photo of these people came to notice. Therefore, after verifying it, all three were arrested.
Among the arrested accused, Ankit Kumar father Vijay Chaudhary village Bahuara Bhan police station Madhuban, Dharamveer Kumar father Jaylal Sahni village Bahuara Bhan police station Madhuban, Manish Kumar father Baiju Bhagat village Sirauli police station Madhuban, all are residents of district East Champaran.
Arrested Manish Kumar also has a criminal history. Section 341/342/323/324/307/34 IPC and 25 (1-B) A/26/35 Arms Act have been registered against him in Madhuban police station case number 116/22. The raid team included Madhuban police station incharge Sanjeev Mauar, SI Rajeev Ranjan and other police officers and armed forces.
