East Champaran, June 29 (HS). 22nd Additional District and Sessions Judge Rashmi Verma found three accused named in the murder case of Air Force officer Alok Tiwari of Sangrampur Madhubani Tiwari Tola guilty on Saturday and sent them to Central Jail Motihari. The court has fixed July 11 for hearing on the point of punishment.
Among the accused found guilty are Chandeshwar Mukhiya, Munna Mukhiya and Shambhu Mukhiya, residents of Koirgaon of Sangrampur police station. In the case, Chandeshwar Tiwari, father of the deceased Air Force officer Alok Tiwari, had registered Sangrampur police station case number 5/2022 and named all three, in which he said that his son Alok was a warrant officer in the army. He had come home on leave. On January 7, 2022, the named accused were uprooting the dhathar planted in his field. When his son refused to uproot the dhathar, the named people caught him and brutally killed him by hitting him on the chest with a pole.
The police took immediate action and arrested the accused and sent them to judicial custody. Along with this, after completing the investigation, the chargesheet against the accused was also submitted in the court within three months.
