Ranchi, June 13 (HS). The court of POCSO Special Judge Asif Iqbal convicted Aniket Sanga, Ajay Mirdha and Sulendar Singh alias Guddu Singh, accused of kidnapping and gang-raping a minor, on Thursday. The court will hear the point of punishment of the accused on June 21.
It is noteworthy that the accused kidnapped the minor from her house at 12.30 pm on 15 December 2020. After kidnapping the victim from her house, the accused took her to the forest of Hatia area and gang-raped her.
After this, the accused threatened to kill the victim if she told anyone about the incident. At 4 am, the accused fled leaving the minor victim unconscious in the forest. On December 16, the victim somehow reached her home and informed her parents about the incident. After this, case number 456/2020 was registered against the accused in Jagannathpur police station. All the accused were in an inebriated state during the incident.
