Jamnagar: There was panic at Jamnagar airport after receiving a threatening email to bomb an Indigo Airlines plane. After this the help of the bomb disposal squad of the Air Force was taken. However, the system heaved a sigh of relief as no suspicious object was found at the end of the checking.
According to the information received in this regard, a bomb threat mail was received on the Indigo Airlines flight going from Jamnagar to Hyderabad. Therefore, as part of security, an intensive investigation was conducted at the airport by Jamnagar Police.
Along with this, the main gate of Jamnagar Airport was closed and movement of people from outside was stopped, after which checking was done with the help of Dog Squad and Bomb Squad of Air Force. However, no explosive substance was found during thorough checking.
It is noteworthy that Andhra Pradesh Housing Minister Kalsu Parthasarathy was also aboard the flight in which the bomb threat was received. Fortunately, nothing objectionable was found and all the passengers were sent away.
