Koderma, August 3 (HS). A ration shop near Subhash Chowk under Tilaiya police station area of the district was robbed. Regarding the matter, the shop owner Dinesh Kumar said that he closed the shop at around 10:30 pm on Friday night and went to his house behind the shop. On opening the shop on Saturday, he found the goods scattered and the cash in the cash box was also scattered.
After this, he saw that the theft was committed by cutting the roof of the shop. When he checked the cash box, he found about one and a half lakh rupees missing. Apart from this, valuable goods worth 60 to 70 thousand were also stolen. He said that the shop is in the name of his grandfather Ghanshyam. At the end of July, money was collected from the defaulters and kept in the cash box and due to rain, it could not be paid to the big businessman. On receiving information about the theft incident, Tilaiya police also reached the spot and investigated the matter. Dinesh Kumar has filed an application in Tilaiya police station regarding the theft in the shop and demanded action.
