In the last 10 days, more than seven lakh devotees have visited the four Dhams. However, this time the efforts of the government and administration for a simple Char Dham are not yielding results. Many devotees who came on the pilgrimage have started returning home without having darshan.

Four thousand devotees returned home from Rishikesh alone

The administration had also started the temporary registration process for Chardham Yatra, but till now about four thousand devotees have returned home from Rishikesh. The returned pilgrims said it was unfortunate that they could not visit the temple even after reaching Uttarakhand. This is the worst experience of his life. Let us tell you that these people were stopped for temporary registration and then this system was also stopped.

Administration arranged for provisional registration

While offline registration was closed, the administration arranged temporary registration to allow around 12,000 pilgrims living in Rishikesh to visit the temple. The administration had planned that after provisional registration, these pilgrims would be sent to holy places, but nothing like this could happen. The administration also closed this temporary registration system at around 5 pm on Monday evening.

Only 6,000 pilgrims could register temporarily

According to the transit camp administration, only six thousand pilgrims could get provisional registration done as against 12 thousand. Out of the remaining six thousand, about four thousand devotees have returned without having darshan. About two and a half thousand devotees are still staying in the transit camp premises as well as in the Dharamshalas.
