Those who stole crude oil from a pipe near the wall of HPCL petrol pump were arrested

Jaipur, July 11 (HS). The Special Operation Group (SOG) took action on Thursday and arrested three miscreants who stole crude oil from a pipe near the wall of HPCL petrol pump in Bar village of Beawar. ADG SOG VK Singh said that on February 13, 2024, IOCL Beawar Officer (Senior Maintenance Manager) Sher Singh Chauhan had lodged a case in SOG that crude oil was being stolen by making a tunnel by making a hole in the pipeline near the wall of HPCL petrol pump in Bar village of petroleum products from the underground pipeline of Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Panipat. On which SOG registered a case and the investigation was given to Deputy Shiv Kumar Bhardwaj. After getting the investigation, the investigating officer inspected the spot. FSL, cyber, footprint and fingerprint teams were called at the spot.

The evidence found on the spot was worked upon. During the investigation, the SOG team found out that the accused were stealing crude oil from the IOCL pipeline by making a chamber in the ground inside the premises of HPCL petrol pump located in Bar, installing iron seats and firms and making a 125 feet long tunnel. On which, the investigation by the team revealed that the accused Akash Jain and Sohanram have formed a gang with Raju alias Bhupendra resident of Devgarh, Bhagwan alias Bhaggi alias Bhaggu resident of Devgarh. This gang works to steal crude oil from the IOC pipeline. This gang had started a petrol pump which was closed for a long time by taking it on rent a few days ago. As soon as the IOCL officials came to know about it, all the criminals fled from the spot. On confirmation of the criminals and their absconding, SOG announced a reward of ten thousand rupees each on Sohanram Bishnoi and Akash Jain. On which the SOG team arrested the reward accused Sohanram alias Sohanlal Bishnoi from Jodhpur. In this case, absconding Bhupendra Singh alias Raju resident of Pithada Mandawar (Kachhwali) Police Station Devgarh District Rajsamand was arrested from Morbi Gujarat and Bhagwan Singh alias Bhaggi alias Bhaggu resident of Pithada Mandawar (Kachhwali) Police Station Devgarh District Ramsamand was arrested from Vadodara Gujarat.
