Those who make money in the name of God should be stopped: Rekha Sharma

Hathras, 03 July (HS). After the deaths due to stampede during Bhole Baba's satsang in the district, the incident of Phulrai Mughal Garhi has become a topic of discussion across the country. After Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Women Commission Chairperson Rekha Sharma reached Hathras on Wednesday. She enquired about the condition of the injured and also visited the spot.

122 people died and dozens were injured in a stampede after a crowd gathered to take the blessings of Saakar Vishwa Hari alias Bhole Baba after his satsang in village Fullerai Mughal Garhi of Sikandrarao. This incident has shaken the families of the deceased and the injured. After this incident came to light, National Commission for Women Chairperson Rekha Sharma reached Hathras on Wednesday. She expressed deep condolences on this heart-rending incident. She went to the district hospital to know about the condition of the injured and talked to them. Expressing satisfaction over the health services, she thanked the government for providing financial assistance to the families of the deceased.

While talking to the media after visiting the spot, he said that the business of those who make money in the name of God should be stopped. Action should be taken by filing a case against those responsible for the incident.

He said that now women and their families should also be aware. One should not go to such crowded programs and programs that make money in the name of God. Most of the people who died in the stampede belong to poor families. Business is being done in the name of God by taking advantage of such innocent people. There is a need to be cautious of such people.
