Real reason behind metro route blockage and affected stations
According to the information received from the administrative officials, the work of construction of new phase and maintenance of tracks has been started at the interchange point and exit gates of the connecting metro stations, which are the busiest for the passengers catching these premium trains of Patna route. Due to this mega block, the metro routes opening just below or near the station have been temporarily closed for common passengers. In such a situation, if you move from metro to the station to catch a train at the last moment, you may get stuck in jam or blockage and may even miss your VIP trains like Tejas Rajdhani or Sampoorna Kranti.
The administration issued these alternative routes to reach the station
In view of the huge crowd and inconvenience to passengers, the traffic police and railways have jointly issued a new route map and travel advisory. Passengers have been advised to de-board one station in advance instead of alighting at the main metro station and from there take autos, e-rickshaws or local cab services to reach the back side of the station or alternative entry gates. Additionally, passengers with heavy luggage have been advised to head directly to the main junction by road instead of relying on the Metro and leave home with an extra margin of at least an hour before the normal time.
No change in timing of total revolution and Tejas Rajdhani
Clarifying the situation, Railway Public Relations Officer (PRO) has said that this block will affect only the metro and road routes leading to the passengers’ station. There has been no change in the operating timings or platforms of 12394 Sampoorna Kranti Express and 12310 Tejas Rajdhani Express from New Delhi to Patna. Trains will depart at their scheduled time only. Therefore, passengers should not pay attention to any kind of rumors and only follow the local route diversion suggested to access the station so that their journey can be safe and hassle-free.
