A very good news has emerged for the passengers and people of Delhi-NCR waiting to take off from Noida International Airport (Jewar Airport). Passengers traveling to and from the airport will no longer have to depend on expensive cab captains or private vehicles, as the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) has geared up to make the connectivity superfast. According to media reports, the government is going to start a vigorous and regular government bus service to directly connect the airport with Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad and all the surrounding major areas. The direct objective of this excellent public transport plan is to make the journey cheap, safe and extremely convenient, under which buses will run at fixed timings throughout the day.
Fast service will be available from 6 am, bus will be available every 15 minutes.
According to information received from top officials of UPSRTC, special bus services to the airport will start with full capacity from 6:00 am every day. At the same time, the last bus for different routes will leave from the terminal of Noida International Airport at 11:30 pm. In view of the increasing load of passengers, buses will be available from the stand at an interval of every 15 to 30 minutes to save oil and time. However, passengers going from Noida to the airport will have to keep in mind that the last bus from there to Jewar will be available at exactly 8:00 pm.
Guide to the 3 biggest routes of Noida, Greater Noida and Mohan Nagar
For the convenience of the passengers, the Transport Corporation has prepared a blueprint of the three biggest and busiest routes from where the maximum number of passengers is expected:
-
Noida Route: This bus service will start from Sector-37 (Botanical Garden Metro Station), the biggest transport hub of Noida. From here, the ride will directly reach Jewar Airport via Pari Chowk and Yamuna Expressway.
-
Greater Noida Route: Buses running from Greater Noida and Noida Extension will directly enter the airport covering Ecotech-16, Gaur City, Char Murti Square, Surajpur and Pari Chowk.
-
Ghaziabad (Mohan Nagar) Route: Passengers starting their journey from Ghaziabad or Mohan Nagar will be able to easily reach the airport via Lalkuan, Char Murti, Surajpur, Pari Chowk, Dankaur and Rabupura.
Apart from this, direct buses will also be run for students and citizens from the main residential sectors of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) and Greater Noida University (GNU) campus.
Increased route of double-decker buses and impenetrable network of 100+ electric buses.
The biggest and interesting change in this entire transport master plan has been made regarding double-decker buses. UPSRTC has significantly expanded the routes of two luxurious double-decker buses running between Pari Chowk in Greater Noida and the airport. Due to this increased network, now major areas of Greater Noida West (Noida Extension) like Gaur City, Ecotech-16, Khairpur and Greater Noida University are also directly connected to Jewar Airport.
Officials said that more than 100 modern electric buses are already running successfully on this route. Along with this, to save the passengers from the fear of missing the flight, the airport authority has also made live a premium and special shuttle service that drops them at the terminal every 15 minutes. Passengers have been advised to re-check the route and timings from their nearest depot or online before leaving home.
