Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given the slogan of Perform, Reform and Transform and Inform and has instructed his ministers to work without stopping at all. According to sources, in a marathon meeting held at Sushma Swaraj Bhawan in Delhi, PM Modi addressed all his ministers for about 40 minutes on important issues including government work, government achievements and promotion of public welfare schemes. The ministers were asked to inform about 10 major decisions of their respective ministries on completion of 100 days of the government and publicize it as much as possible.

In this cabinet meeting that lasted for more than five hours, PM Modi had a special conversation with the new ministers who became ministers for the first time. At the end of the meeting, he humbly told the ministers that this is only a small dose and he is hopeful that the ministers will get used to the way of working without stopping. According to sources, the budget announcements made by the Union Finance Minister in Parliament were discussed extensively in the meeting. It was also decided that the schemes which are completing 10 years will be celebrated on 5 September.

73 determination
In the meeting, Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba also gave a presentation on 73 major and important decisions taken so far in the third term of the Modi government. Along with this, two more PPT presentations were also shown on the improvement of health and education sector and infrastructure in the country. In the meeting of the Council of Ministers, PM Modi said that at present we have a mandate till 2029 and we are working towards taking the country forward. Apart from this, we also have a plan for a developed India by 2047.

Modi's focus is on women and the poor
PM Modi urged ministers and bureaucrats to work towards effective implementation of social policies to address the problems of women and the poor. The progress of the agenda of the first 100 days of the third term of the government was reviewed. PM Modi told ministers and top bureaucrats that the government has done good work in the last 10 years and will continue to work at a fast pace in the next five years as well. Modi told ministers and officials that he has assured the people that development will continue at the same pace as the last decade because he has faith in them.

The Council of Ministers meeting is usually different and larger than the weekly cabinet meeting. The cabinet meeting is attended only by the cabinet ministers and the ministers attached to their departments in which the agenda of the departments is discussed.
