This time the assembly election in Jammu and Kashmir will be between three families and the youth: Prime Minister Modi | News India

Doda/New Delhi, September 14 (HS). Senior leader of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Prime Minister Narendra Modi attacked the politics of dynasty and said that this time the assembly election of Jammu and Kashmir is between three families and the youth of Jammu and Kashmir.

Addressing an election rally in support of BJP candidates in Doda district of Jammu region, Prime Minister Modi said that the changes coming in Jammu and Kashmir are the result of the efforts of our government in the last 10 years. He said that together we and you will make Jammu and Kashmir a safe and prosperous part of the country.

This time the assembly election of Jammu Kashmir is between three families and the youth of Jammu Kashmir. He said that one family is of Congress, one family is of National Conference and one family is of PDP. What these three families have done to you people in Jammu Kashmir is no less than a sin. He said that these three families are responsible for the misery that has happened in Jammu Kashmir for decades. They were involved in corruption and you had to struggle for your basic needs. These families laid the foundation of terrorism and extremism in the valley. They provided a safe haven for the propagation of terrorism for personal gain.

He said that this time the elections of Jammu and Kashmir will decide the fate of Jammu and Kashmir. Since independence, our beloved Jammu and Kashmir has been targeted by foreign powers. After this, nepotism started hollowing out this beautiful state. The political parties you trusted here did not care about your children. They only promoted their own children. My youth of Jammu and Kashmir kept suffering in terrorism and the parties promoting nepotism kept enjoying themselves by misleading you. These people never allowed new leadership to emerge anywhere, ever in Jammu and Kashmir.

While addressing the public meeting, the Prime Minister recalled the time when an undeclared curfew was imposed here as soon as the day ended. He said that the situation was such that even the Home Minister of the then Congress-led Central Government was afraid of going to Lal Chowk. Terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir is now counting its last breaths. The change that has come here in the last 10 years is no less than a dream. The stones that were earlier raised to throw at the police and the army are now being used to build a new Jammu and Kashmir.
