It is being told that earlier the Railway Board had planned to run the train between Surat and Rajkot. But, due to the construction of Multi Modal Transport Hub (MMTH), platform-4 of Surat station has been temporarily closed. Due to this, the route of the proposed Vande Bharat was changed. Now there is a plan to run this train between Udhna and Rajkot.

On June 28, the division issued first aid kits to all the ticket checking staff (TTE) of passenger trains. In this first aid kit, all 13 types of medicines related to general treatment will be available with the ticket checking staff in the railways during duty.
