This state is going to get another Vande Bharat train, know what is the plan of Railways

Lucknow: Vande Bharat Express is being run between Lucknow and Patna, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. This train runs between Gomti Nagar Railway Station of Lucknow and Patna. Now Railways is preparing to give another Vande Bharat Express gift to the people of Lucknow soon. There is a plan to run this train between Gomti Nagar railway station and Bhopal. A proposal in this regard has been sent to the Railway Board on behalf of Lucknow Division of North Eastern Railway.

According to DRM Aditya Kumar of North Eastern Railway Lucknow, Vande Bharat Express is already running between Lucknow and Patna. Apart from this, proposals have also been sent to the Railway Board for Puri, Kota and Katna.

He said that in view of the movement of people on Diwali and Chhath festival, preparations are being made to run record special trains this time. In view of the crowd, it is also ordered that if needed, unreserved special trains should be run immediately.

He said that compared to last year, this year special trains have been increased by 172%. Out of 2,950 trains of Northern Railway, about 83% festival special trains will be run for the states of UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Assam etc. In this, maximum trains will be run in areas like Lucknow, Barauni, Samastipur, Saharsa, Varanasi, Ayodhya, Gorakhpur, Jaynagar, Darbhanga, Jogbani, Patna, Kolkata, Guwahati, Howrah, Muzaffarpur, Katihar, Tatanagar etc.

Trains will run from designated platforms

Keeping in mind the facilities of the passengers, the Railway Board has given instructions to earmark platforms for special trains, so that people do not have to face inconvenience. Apart from this, the platform should not be changed at the last moment.

QR code at every station

DRM Aditya Kumar of North Eastern Railway Lucknow Division said that the facility of QR code has been made available at all the stations. Through which passengers will be able to pay for tickets online. It was told that 41 special trains will run from North Eastern Railway Lucknow division.
