South Indian cuisine is loved in every corner of our country, and one dish that stands out is the delightful “Appe”. Loved by many, these rice-based snacks are often enjoyed as breakfast or snacks. Is enjoyed. Appe is not only light on the stomach but is also full of taste. These are prepared quickly and are liked by people of all ages. Enjoy them hot with chutney or tomato sauce for a delightful experience.
Material:
1 cup rice flour
4 tbsp semolina
1/2 cup curd
1 teaspoon chaat masala
1 chopped onion
1 chopped carrot
1 chopped capsicum
1 finely chopped tomato
2 chopped green chillies
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
1/2 cup 2 tsp eno
1 teaspoon lemon juice
cooking oil as required
salt as per taste
Instruction:
– Add rice flour and 4 tablespoons of semolina in a bowl and mix. – Add curd and salt and mix everything well. Leave the mixture like this for half an hour.
– After the stipulated time, add finely chopped onion, tomato, capsicum and carrot to the mixture. mix well.
-Add chopped green chillies, green coriander, chaat masala, eno and lemon juice to the mixture. mix well.
-Heat the appa stand, add oil to each mold and pour the batter into each mold.
-Cook the appas on low flame till they become golden brown, keep turning them occasionally so that they get cooked properly.
-When the appe becomes golden brown from all sides, turn off the flame.
-Rice appe is ready to serve.
-Enjoy them with your favorite chutney or sauce.
