This prestigious university of America will soon open its campus in India.

John Hopkins University: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Sunday discussed setting up its campus in India with officials of Johns Hopkins University in Maryland, USA. This step can prove to be a milestone for internationalization of education in India. During this meeting, cooperation with India in the university as well as academic and research world was also discussed. A senior Education Ministry official said that keeping in mind the keen interest expressed by the high-level delegation during the meeting, the government is hopeful of getting positive results soon.

Officials of Gupta Klinsky India Institute were also involved

Officials associated with the matter said areas of dual and joint degree programmes, interest of students and faculty and research partnerships in emerging areas like data science, artificial intelligence and future technologies were also discussed. This is the largest ever delegation of top global organizations from the US to India. It was led by Johns Hopkins University President Ronald J. Are doing. Daniel is doing. It also includes officials from the Gupta Klinsky India Institute, an arm of the university that seeks to connect the university with Indian partners through research, education and policy. In the meeting, Dharmendra Pradhan also discussed the goals of the National Education Policy 2020 (NE).

Only 10 Johns Hopkins University campuses worldwide

Notably, JHU ranks among the top universities globally. He is famous for his contributions to research, medicine and education. Johns Hopkins University has only 10 campuses worldwide, two of which are outside the US. The university has opened the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) Europe Campus in Bologna, Italy, and the Hopkins-Nanjing Center in Nanjing, China.
