Shahrukh Khan married his girlfriend Gauri Khan in 1991. At this time Shahrukh Khan shifted from Delhi to Mumbai. King Khan was going to spend his first night with his wife Gauri in a hotel after marriage and there was a huge commotion there.
Mustaq Shaikh has written a book on the life of Shahrukh Khan. Some secrets related to King Khan's life have come to light in that book. The book also mentions the first night of marriage of Shahrukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan.
It is told in the book that when Shahrukh Khan reached Mumbai from Delhi after marriage, the first person to inform about it was Bollywood actress Hema Malini. At that time Shahrukh Khan was working in veteran actress Hema Malini's film Dil Aashna Hai.
As soon as Shahrukh Khan told Hema Malini that he had married Gauri and reached Mumbai, she called King Khan and his wife to the studio. That day was the wedding night of Shahrukh Khan and Gauri in a hotel in Mumbai. However, Shahrukh Khan was very excited about his film and reached the studio with Gauri on Hema Malini's call.
Hema Malini was not present in the studio. Shahrukh and Gauri started waiting for them. After some time, Shahrukh Khan was told that Hema Malini would come late. Their scenes are ready and shooting can begin.
In such a situation, Shahrukh Khan made his wife Gauri sit in a room of the studio and went for shooting. New bride Gauri Khan sat in that room for several hours, waiting for her husband Shahrukh Khan.
It is said in the book that Shahrukh Khan left for shooting at 11 pm and returned at 2 am. Shahrukh Khan came into the room and saw Gauri sleeping on a chair in bridal clothes. Shahrukh Khan was very sad after seeing all this. He felt that he had insulted the new bride Gauri.
Regarding this incident, Shahrukh Khan said, “It was our wedding night, but Gauri spent several hours sitting on a chair in that small room, surrounded by mosquitoes. After this I woke up Gauri and we both did not talk to each other. We took a taxi from outside the studio and went straight to the hotel. I did not treat Gauri well that day.
