Myanmar Crisis: Everything is not going well in the world these days. On one hand, there is a war going on between Russia and Ukraine. On the other hand, global tension is continuously increasing due to the war going on in West Asia. So somewhere news of civil war is coming out and somewhere political turmoil is also being seen. Amidst all this, the situation in India's neighboring country Myanmar has also become so bad that there is a fear of division of the country.

3 million people displaced due to the conflict

There has been a conflict going on in India's neighboring country Myanmar for some time now, which is continuously increasing. Now rebel organizations have captured most of the northern areas of Myanmar. Due to which the situation in the country has worsened. The country is on the verge of ruin. In the year 2021, the Myanmar Army overthrew the elected government and seized power. Against which many organizations started rebellion. More than 3 years have passed since the ongoing conflict in Myanmar. However, as time passes, the rebel organization seems to be strengthening its hold on the army. According to United Nations (UN) data, 3 million people have been displaced due to the conflict in Myanmar.

The Association of Organizations Working for Humanitarian Relief in Myanmar has said that more than 100,000 people have been displaced and about 141 people have been killed and more than 100 injured in violence in Shan State between June and mid-July. In October last year, Myanmar's rebel organizations launched a second phase of attack on the Myanmar Army under Operation 1027. In the first phase of the conflict, rebel organizations strategically captured the eastern border of Shan State. Now rebel groups are fighting to capture the northern part of the country, which is about 280 km from Mandalay to Lashio. There is a fear that if the rebel groups succeed, Myanmar may be divided.
