This is the first time in WPL history that a team has won so many awards; Know the list of winners

RCB team has won the title of WPL 2024 by defeating Delhi Capitals team by 8 wickets. This is RCB's first title by combining both IPL and WPL leagues. In the final match, Delhi Capitals team decided to bat first which proved wrong. In this match, Delhi Capitals gave a target of 114 runs to RCB to win, in response to which RCB easily achieved the target.

This amazing incident happened for the first time

This is the first time in the history of the Women's Premier League that a team has won the WPL title and players from the same team have also won the Orange Cap and Purple Cap. Ellyse Perry has won the Orange Cap for RCB. He is the highest run-scorer in WPL 2024. Apart from this, Shreyanka Patil has performed brilliantly for RCB in the current season and has taken the most wickets in the tournament. For this reason he got the purple cap. Emerging Player award has also gone to Shreyanka's account.

Player of the match was awarded to Sophie Molineux

Sophie Sophie Molyneux presented an excellent example of bowling for RCB in the final match. He took 3 wickets for 20 runs in the quota of four overs. He was given the Player of the Match award. RCB's Georgia Wareham was awarded the Super Striker of the WPL 2024 season. He scored an important 111 runs for Bangalore at a strike rate of 163.23. RCB has won the title in WPL 2024. After this, RCB players have also won Orange Cap, Purple Cap, Emerging Player of the Season, Player of the Match in the final, Super Striker of the Season and Fair Play Award.
