Controversial comedian and Big Ball winner Munawar Farooqui has been arrested by Mumbai Police. Hookah smoking comedian Farooqui earns lakhs of rupees a month.
Apart from Farooqui, 13 others have also been detained. He was later released, news agency ANI quoted a Mumbai Police official as saying.
According to the police, a hookah parlor was being run illegally in Mumbai's Kila area and during a raid on Tuesday, Rs 4,400 in cash and nine hookah pots worth Rs 13,500 were seized.

His total earnings in the 12 weeks of the show were around Rs 84 lakh to Rs 96 lakh. His total earning from here including prize money was Rs 1.34 crore to Rs 1.46 crore.
