BCCI took immediate action:
According to a press release, for Level 1 violations of the Code of Conduct, the match referee's decision is final and binding. Section 2.2 of the IPL Code of Conduct deals with misuse of cricket equipment or clothing, ground equipment during matches. Ishan Kishan has confessed his crime. Talking about the match, thanks to Jack Fraser-McGurk's explosive inning of 84 runs in 27 balls, Delhi Capitals defeated the struggling Mumbai Indians by 10 runs and strengthened their claim for the playoff race.

Delhi Capitals beat Mumbai Indians:
Batting first, Delhi Capitals scored 257 runs for 4 wickets, in which apart from Jake Fraser-McGurk, Tristan Stubbs remained unbeaten after scoring 48 runs in 25 balls. In reply, five-time champion Mumbai team could score only 247 runs for nine wickets in 20 overs. All the bowlers of Mumbai proved to be expensive. Luke Wood gave 17 runs and Nuwan Thushara gave runs at an economy rate of 14 runs per over. The most expensive was Hardik who gave 41 runs in two overs.
