The Air India Express plane going from Thiruvananthapuram to Muscat had to land back on the runway soon after take off. As soon as the plane took off, smoke started coming out. There was panic as soon as smoke came out of the plane.
The aircraft immediately had to make an emergency landing at Thiruvananthapuram airport. An atmosphere of fear was created among the 148 passengers on board this plane. According to Air India spokesperson, smoke started coming out as soon as the plane took off. After this an emergency landing of the plane was made.
All passengers and crew members on board the aircraft are safe. Alternative arrangements are being made for the onward journey of the passengers. Technical investigation will be conducted to find out the reason for smoke coming out in the plane. Air India Express has expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to the passengers.
