Refined Sugar
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advises parents not to give added sugar to children under the age of 2. Adding extra sugar to certain foods can cause tooth decay and may make the child more likely to ingest it, putting him at risk for type 2 diabetes when he grows up.

Honey
Honey has antibacterial properties and it increases the immunity of children. But honey should not be fed to children under 1 year of age. In many places, children are also treated with honey, which is wrong. Eating honey poses a risk to children's health.

Salt
Children between 7 and 12 months should be given approximately 0.37 grams of sodium per day. This is obtained from formula milk for the infant. In such a situation, do not feed the child with salt added separately. Some parents give their children things like chips, fries, crisps etc. to eat which can also harm the child's kidneys. Because excess sodium puts pressure on the kidneys.

Cow's milk
Although cow's milk contains many nutrients, it is not good for a child under 12 months of age. It contains heavy proteins and minerals which the child cannot digest. This also puts pressure on their kidneys.
