Aadhaar card update deadline extended

UIDAI's new update
UIDAI has extended the deadline for updating Aadhaar card to 14 September 2024. Earlier this deadline was 14 June 2024. If your Aadhaar card is 10 years old then you can update it online for free. For this you have to go to My Aadhaar portal. Aadhaar update facility is available only online, service fee has to be paid for updating at Aadhaar center.

Visit the official website of UIDAI at myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in.
Click on “Update Basis” option.
Enter your 10 digit Aadhaar number and OTP and login.
Confirm by clicking Update Document.
Upload scanned copy of Identity Card and Address Proof.
Click on the “Submit” button. You will get a request number.
After this you can check the status of Aadhaar update.

New rules related to UPI and RuPay card
As per the new rules of NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India), from 1st September 2024, RuPay credit card and UPI transaction fees will no longer be deducted from your RuPay reward points. All banks have been notified to implement this rule. This will help you make full use of your reward points and reduce your expenses on transaction fees.
