7. Chris Gayle – 119 meters

West Indies' legendary and aggressive batsman Chris Gayle is the power hitter of this league. Gayle, popularly known as Universe Boss, also has the record of hitting most sixes in IPL. While playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2013, Gayle hit a 119 meter long six off the ball of Pune Warriors left-arm spinner Ali Mortaza. Apart from this, he also scored 175 runs in that match, which is still the highest individual score in the history of IPL.

6. Yuvraj Singh – 119 meters

Yuvraj Singh is one of the biggest stars of the cricket world, he has created a stir with his batting not only in international cricket but also in the IPL. However, his IPL career was not very successful. However, he is at sixth place in the list of batsmen who have hit long sixes. While playing for Kings XI Punjab in the second season of this league i.e. 2009, he hit a 119 meter long six against Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Albie Morkel.

5. Ross Taylor – 119 meters

Ross Taylor performed very well while playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the year 2009. He played an important role in taking RCB to the finals this season. In the first season of IPL, while playing for RCB, he hit a 119 meter long six off the ball of Chennai Super Kings bowler Jacob Oram. He played his last IPL match in the year 2015.

4. Robin Uthappa – 120 meters

Robin Uthappa is one of the most successful cricketers of IPL and has been a part of many teams in this league. With over 600 runs in IPL 2014, the right-handed batsman played a key role in Kolkata Knight Riders' victory that year, winning the Orange Cap. Uthappa, while playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2010, hit a 120-metre long six against Mumbai Indians all-rounder Dwayne Bravo.

3. Adam Gilchrist – 122 meters

Former Australian wicketkeeper-batsman Adam Gilchrist had an illustrious IPL career and is one of the few foreign captains to win the IPL trophy. In the second season of this league i.e. 2009, Gilchrist captained Deccan Chargers to win the IPL and in that season he was also given the Player of the Tournament award. He hit a 122-metre long six against Charles Langeveld of Royal Challengers Bangalore while playing for Kings XI Punjab in 2011. In that match, he also played a brilliant inning of 122 runs in 106 balls.

2. Praveen Kumar – 124 meters

Praveen Kumar is the most unexpected name in this list, even though he beat many big names in the list to grab this spot. He achieved this feat by hitting a six off Rajasthan Royals off-spinner Yusuf Pathan while playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the first season of IPL. Although Praveen Kumar is a bowler, he showed that he has batting skills as well by hitting a 124 meter long six in that match.

1. Albie Morkel – 125m

Albie Morkel played an important role in helping Chennai Super Kings win the IPL title in 2010 and 2011. This South African all-rounder was included in the CSK team in the very first season of this league i.e. in the year 2008.

Morkel was also the leading wicket-taker for CSK that season, taking 17 wickets in 13 matches. Morkel was a left-handed batting all-rounder. In the very first season, against Deccan Chargers, the ball reached outside the stadium after hitting a powerful six off the ball of spinner Pragyan Ojha. The distance of this six was 125 meters and till the current season of IPL, no batsman has hit such a long six.
